GamePP Frequently Asked Questions

Operation methods: 1. Open GamePP settings and go to the "Monitoring Overlay" menu; 2. Find the "Transparency" option and adjust it using the slider to a suitable value; 3. Preview the adjustment in-game to avoid obstructing important gameplay elements; 4. Save independent transparency schemes for different games; 5. Click "Save Settings" after adjustment. It is recommended to moderately increase transparency on dark game backgrounds for better data readability.  

Setup steps: 1. Open the GamePP settings interface and go to "Monitoring Display" options; 2. In the monitoring items list, check only CPU and GPU related data options; 3. Click "Apply" and save settings; 4. After entering the game, the monitoring overlay will display only CPU and GPU data; 5. To restore default display, click "Restore Default Settings." It is recommended to adjust display content based on actual needs to avoid overwhelming screen information that affects gaming experience.  

Operation steps: 1. In desktop mode, drag the desktop monitoring overlay to the secondary screen with your mouse; 2. If it can't be dragged, check if system multi-screen display settings are enabled; 3. Open GamePP settings and enable "Multi-Screen Adaptation"; 4. Lock the monitoring window position on the secondary screen after adjustment to prevent accidental movement; 5. After saving settings, the desktop monitoring window will be fixed on the secondary screen. It is recommended to regularly check secondary screen resolution settings for normal display.  

 Movement methods: 1. After entering the game, press Ctrl+G to bring up the monitoring overlay; 2. Move the mouse to the edge of the monitoring panel, hold the left button, and drag to the target position; 3. Release the left mouse button, and the overlay will automatically lock in place; 4. For precise adjustments, enter specific coordinates in "Settings - Position." It is recommended to enable anti-accidental-touch lock after positioning to avoid moving the window during gameplay.  

Addition steps: 1. Click the gear icon (settings button) in the upper right corner of the desktop monitoring overlay; 2. In the pop-up "Monitoring Items" list, check the metrics to add (e.g., CPU, GPU, memory); 3. Click "Save," and the desktop overlay will update in real-time with the new metrics; 4. If new metrics don't appear, enable full sensor reading in "Advanced Settings." It is recommended to enable only necessary metrics to reduce system overhead and ensure smooth game optimization.
