Noctua NH-D14 Silent Tuning
Facing the oppressive pressure of thousands of rats, I noticed my CPU frequency jumping between 3.6 and 4.2GHz as the temperature hit 87℃. I tried setting the fans to full speed in the BIOS, but the signature Noctua silence was gone while only dropping 6℃, leaving me hesitant. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to create a fast-climbing curve for 75-85℃ and fine-tuned the speed to 1450 RPM to kill the resonance. Frame times converged to 16-19ms per RTSS monitoring, and CPU temperature stayed at 74-79℃ per AIDA64 monitoring.
