Fixing Ultimate Ability Lag
It was infuriating—my GPU specs were enough, yet every time I used an ultimate in a team fight, the frame rate would tank from 120 to 40. I tried 'Prefer Maximum Performance' in the NVIDIA Control Panel, but the GPU hit 85℃ per AIDA64 and the drops still happened, which was incredibly annoying. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to set the system to Extreme Performance and adjusted the fan curve to release heat earlier. Frame times converged to 8-12ms per RTSS, and GPU temperature stayed at 65-72℃ per AIDA64.
