Taming CPU Heat in ARK
During intense guild battles, I noticed the frame rate mysteriously sliding after ten minutes, creating a palpable sense of performance decay. I first tried enabling aggressive performance mode in the BIOS, but the fans sounded like a helicopter taking off while temperature only dropped by 3℃ per AIDA64, leaving me confused. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to change the 70-85℃ gradient to a stepped pattern and locked the max speed at 1800 RPM. After two hours of stress testing, core temperatures stabilized at 78-84℃ per AIDA64, and fan speeds remained steady at 1400-1600RPM via GamePP Hardware Sensor.
