Resolving STALKER 2 CPU Temperature Spikes
Open map loading in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was a nightmare with my Noctua NH-D14. Temps hit 95℃ and FPS dropped to 60. I tried Balanced power mode, but it only made things worse, dropping to 45 FPS. I then used the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to set monitoring to 0.5s and re-applied high-conductivity paste. AIDA64 now shows stable 78℃ temps and 110 FPS. The game runs perfectly now.
