Eliminating Bandwidth Bottlenecks
Charging across the battlefield, I was devastated when the frame rate plummeted from 90 to 40 FPS whenever hundreds of enemies filled the screen. I first tried enabling the High Performance power plan in Windows; however, while CPU clocks stabilized, memory latency actually increased by 5ns per GamePP Hardware Sensor, which was incredibly frustrating. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game's memory read/write priority to the highest level and cleared background fragments. RivaTuner showed 1% lows rising from 22 to 45 FPS, and MemTest86 confirmed zero errors over 5 cycles with temps at 42-50℃ per HWiNFO. It's finally buttery smooth.
