Is the Intel 760P too slow for RDR2 4K Texture MODs?
The 4K MODs make the Wild West look unbelievable, but my Intel 760P became the ultimate bottleneck. Loading into a town took so long I could actually go make a coffee—it was both exciting and infuriating. I went into the GamePP Power Plan Switcher and flipped the Intel 760P from 'Balanced' to 'Extreme Performance' and killed every useless background disk scan. Using RivaTuner, I saw the texture streaming bandwidth utilization jump from 40% to 85%, and my load times crashed from 45 seconds down to 18. I wasted time trying to defrag the drive first, which is obviously pointless for an NVMe, but this mode switch was a godsend.
