Eliminating Frame Drops
While sneaking through dark tunnels, the screen would stutter violently during area loads, which completely killed the stealth tension. I tried disabling every unnecessary startup item in Windows, but the disk I/O improvement was negligible, leaving me anxious. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and optimized the cache refresh frequency. RTSS monitoring showed frame times converged to 12-18ms, HWMonitor confirmed 45-52℃, and SpeedFan showed fans at 1400-1600RPM.
