How to stop CPU throttling on Colorful B450M-T M.2 in Orion?
The neon city streets looked great until my frame rate plummeted from 80 FPS to 30 FPS without warning, and the stuttering felt absolutely miserable. Looking at the logs, the VRM section of my Colorful B450M-T M.2 V14 was idling between 92°C - 98°C on HWiNFO, triggering aggressive thermal throttling. My first instinct was to undervolt the CPU in the BIOS, but while that dropped temps by 5°C, the system just blue-screened after thirty minutes—totally reckless of me. I switched gears and used the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel to force the mid-chassis auxiliary fans to 100% once the sensors hit 60°C.
