Smoothing Foggy Streets
Walking through the fog, the screen would suddenly freeze for half a second, which was incredibly anxiety-inducing in a horror game. I tried switching DLSS to Performance mode, but the image became blurry, a loss of quality I couldn't accept. I then used the GamePP Image Sampling Calibrator to raise DLSS sharpening from 0.4 to 0.62 and locked the resolution to 100%. My frame rate stabilized at 60-68 FPS per RTSS, a huge jump from the previous 48-65 FPS. GPU temperature stayed at 66-72℃ per AIDA64 and VRAM usage sat at 10.2-11.5GB per GamePP.
