Managing CPU Temperature
It was unbearable; during ultimate attacks, the CPU hit 95-98℃, causing the clock to plummet to 3.2GHz and the game to stutter like a slideshow. I first tried increasing the case fan speeds, but it only increased noise while the core temperature remained in the danger zone. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set 75℃ as the trigger point and ramped the speed up to 2100RPM. AIDA64 stress tests showed peak temperatures suppressed to 78-82℃.
