No Rest for the Wicked Lag
Facing a giant Boss was a nightmare when the frame rate plummeted from 60 to 25, making the combat feel sluggish and unresponsive. I tried increasing virtual memory to 32GB, but this actually worsened the page swap latency, making the drops even more frequent. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Guide to raise memory voltage to 1.35V and tightened timings to 16-16-16-34. Latency stabilized at 72-78ns per GamePP Latency Tool, while MemTest86 confirmed zero errors over 4 cycles and HWInfo showed temps at 45-52℃, making it feel responsive.
