Fixing Temp Spikes
The feeling of soaring over NYC is incredible, but the CPU temperature spikes are a total mood-killer, jumping between 65℃ and 88℃ per AIDA64 and dropping frames to 45 per MSI Afterburner. I first tried enabling DLSS Frame Generation; while FPS increased, the temperature spikes remained and I got unacceptable input lag. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock High Performance mode and set the pump to trigger full speed at 70℃ in the fan curve panel. Temperature fluctuations dropped from 23℃ to under 5℃ per HWInfo64, with water temps stable at 55-62℃ per AIDA64.
