Why does Far Cry 7 freeze during large scale combat encounters?

During massive gunfights, the screen would freeze; such severe drops are a nightmare in life-or-death situations. I tried lowering all graphics settings, but FPS only rose by 4 and the image became blurry, which made me very anxious. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force High Performance mode and raised fan start voltage to 0.8V. CPU-Z confirmed core frequency stabilized at 3.8GHz, and HWiNFO showed fan speed at 2200-2400 RPM with temps at 82-88℃.
