Is the PCcooler RT500 Digital overheating in Kingdom Come?
The moment I entered Rattay, my frames just tanked. I glanced down at the RT500 Digital display and the numbers were flashing between 88°C - 92°C—I could literally feel the heat wave hitting my face from the exhaust. My first instinct was to crank the case fans to max, but that only shaved off 3°C and the noise was so loud I couldn't even hear the game. It was a total waste of time. I realized the issue was the stock voltage, so I went into the BIOS and set the CPU Core Voltage Offset to -0.050V while bumping the Power Limit to 125W. Checking the real-time monitor, temps plummeted back to 72-78°C, and my FPS jumped from a stuttery 45 to a stable 62. I actually pushed it to -0.1V at first and the system blue-screened three times in a row, which was a nightmare. Once I backed it off to -0.050V, it became rock solid. RAM stayed around 48-54°C and VRMs hovered between 62-68°C. I ran a long-term loop stress test to make sure it wouldn't crash mid-game, and it held up perfectly. No more overheating, just pure immersion.
