Solving Intel 660P I/O Bottlenecks
Exploring tunnels was stressful; my Intel 660P 1TB read latency climbed from 60ms to 150-200ms per HWiNFO, causing obvious frame drops. I tried setting the drive to High Performance mode in Windows, but speeds only improved by 5% and the stutters remained. I then opened GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increasing the queue from 32 to 128 and adjusting I/O priority.
