Optimizing NVMe Queue Depth
It was absolute torture every time I entered a new combat area and the loading screen froze at 99% for seconds. I first tried setting virtual memory to half of my disk space, but that actually increased read/write conflicts and dropped my frames. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configurator to increase the depth from 32 to 128. This boosted 4K random reads from 45-52MB/s to 68-75MB/s per CrystalDiskMark. GamePP monitoring confirmed memory usage stayed stable at 14-18GB while HWMonitor showed SSD temps at 42-55℃.
