Managing NVMe Thermal Throttling
As my plane climbed into the clouds, city landscapes suffered from obvious loading delays, which felt fatal when playing at 4K. I tried adding a dedicated fan to the M.2 slot; while it dropped the temperature by 5℃, the read speeds still fluctuated wildly between 3000-7000MB/s, leaving me anxious. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to optimize the read queue depth to 1024. This stabilized everything; AIDA64 stress tests showed random reads holding at 62-68MB/s, peak temperatures stayed under 72-78℃ via AIDA64, and idling temps remained 58-64℃ per HWInfo64.
