Solving G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3600 instability in Destiny 2
These random BSODs were driving me insane; every time I used a super, the screen would just flip to a memory management error. The 3600MHz controller on my board is just unstable, causing massive signal interference. I tried the 'Auto Overclock' feature, but that just made it worse—crashes went from once an hour to every ten minutes. I finally forced the RAM to 3200MHz, bumped the voltage from 1.35V to 1.38V, and loosened tRCD to 16. My frame time graph went from a jagged 17-48ms to a steady 13-21ms, and the BSODs vanished. I still had one crash during the first reboot at 3200MHz until I updated the BIOS to the latest version. CPU is at 64-71℃ and RAM is at 44-51℃. I saved the profile to a backup file so I don't have to do this again, though I hate losing that 400MHz.
