Ending Urban Transition Freezes
While moving quickly through urban ruins, the screen would suddenly freeze for about 0.4 seconds, which is fatal for a narrative game. I first tried disabling all background indexing services in Windows, but the frame drops persisted without any improvement, leaving me exhausted by the blind attempts. I launched the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increased the depth from 1024 to 2048, and enabled forced write cache flush. Read latency stabilized at 12-18ms per CrystalDiskMark, and SSD temps stayed at 45-52℃ per HWiNFO64.
