Stopping Core Clock Jitter
I was so excited for the upgraded graphics, but the core frequency of my RX 590 GME jittered around 1800MHz, causing the FPS to bounce between 40 and 60. I tried enabling Overclock mode in the driver; while I gained 5 FPS, the temperature hit 88℃ and triggered throttling, which was completely counterproductive. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock High Performance mode and configured the fan curve to hit 100% at 70℃. Core frequency stabilized at 1750-1800MHz per GPU-Z, and temperatures stayed at 72-78℃ per AIDA64.
