Why do giant sandworms cause frame drops in Dune?

I was so excited to survive the desert, but facing giant sandworms caused 0.5s freezes with Vcore jumping between 1.15-1.28V per Multimeter. I tried disabling all Windows power-saving options, but FPS only rose by 2 and CPU temps climbed by 5℃ per AIDA64, which was a discouraging mistake. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard to set LL mode to L2 and added a 0.02V offset. Now, frame times have converged to 13-17ms per FrameView and CPU temps stay at 70-78℃ per HWInfo.
