Why does Enshrouded freeze at 50% loading with Intel 660P?

I carefully observed the loading bar sticking at 50% for 10 seconds, a typical failure for QLC drives like the 660P. I tried forcing a TRIM optimization in the system; it freed some space but didn't stop the loading freezes, proving simple maintenance can't fix hardware traits. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to set queue depth to 64 and disabled background write sync. Now, random reads improved to 45-52MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, the 100MB/s drop seen in AIDA64 is gone, and temps are 40-48℃ per HWiNFO.
