Fixing Overdrive Mode Instability
With Path Tracing on in Night City, my frame rate jumped wildly between 40-70 fps per RTSS, which was a total nightmare in Overdrive mode. I tried enabling 'Extreme Performance' in BIOS, but while peak FPS rose, the minimum FPS dropped by 8 frames, which was shocking and unstable. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to switch to High Performance mode and locked the core sync frequency at 6000MHz per CPU-Z. GamePP monitor showed bandwidth usage dropped from 92-98% to 78-84%, and AIDA64 confirmed temperatures at 52-58℃.
