Phantom Spirit 120 SE Cooling
During a massive charge in Warhammer III, my game stuttered violently while my chassis emitted a deafening roar. I tried setting the fans to full speed in BIOS; while the temperature dropped to 82℃ per AIDA64, the noise was like a vacuum cleaner and totally unbearable. I eventually used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to implement a non-linear step-up strategy for the 75-85℃ range. This was a game-changer. CPU temperatures stabilized at 78-84℃ per AIDA64, and 3DMark confirmed no further thermal throttling while CPU-Z showed a steady 4.2-4.5GHz clock speed.
