Fixing DS2 Fan Noise Issues
Exploring the open world in DS2 was ruined by erratic fan noise. I tried adjusting the stop threshold in BIOS, but it made the start-stop conflict worse. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to set fan speed to 1200-1500 RPM. CPU temp stabilized at 42-55℃ per AIDA64. Noise level dropped to a steady 30-35dB per GamePP. The immersion is back. I can export this profile for other games.
