Cooling the Samsung 990 PRO
The first battle in The First Berserker: Khazan was a nightmare; my Samsung 990 PRO 4TB hit 75℃, triggering massive thermal throttling. I saw texture pop-in everywhere, and the game stuttered badly. I tried adding more case fans, but the heat remained, and the read speeds stayed stuck in the 3000-4000MB/s range. I switched to GamePP Hardware Sensors, which revealed poor heatsink contact. I replaced the thermal pad and adjusted the fan curve to a high-performance profile.
