Reducing Memory Latency Spikes
Entering the edge of the Zone, I saw ruins loading painfully slowly with frequent micro-stutters that ruined the atmosphere. I tried enabling the XMP profile in BIOS, but the system blue-screened twice, leaving me frustrated by the instability. I used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Wizard to steadily increase memory voltage from 1.25V to 1.32V. Read/write latency dropped to 65-71ns per GamePP monitoring, and memory temperature stabilized at 46-48℃ per HWiNFO, while VRMs hit 62-67℃ per HWiNFO.
