Solving NYC Swinging Crashes
Swinging through NYC, the frame rate would unexpectedly plummet from 90 to 20 fps before crashing to the desktop, which was an awful experience. I spent an entire afternoon updating drivers three times thinking it was a GPU issue, but the drop frequency didn't improve at all. Using the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Guide, I observed voltage instability of 1.1-1.25V per HWiNFO and switched the load-line to Medium mode with VDDQ tuned to 1.22V. AIDA64 stress tests confirmed stable operation with temperatures between 45-52℃ and zero errors.
