Fixing Core i5 12400F Heat
During high-difficulty Boss fights, my CPU would rocket to 92℃ per HWMonitor, causing frames to plummet from 60 to 35. It was a nightmare. I spent an hour rearranging all chassis fan directions thinking it was an airflow issue, but temperatures still spiked, leaving me defeated. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to replace the sluggish default response with a stepped curve, setting 1600-1900 RPM for the 75-85℃ range. Core temperatures were suppressed to 80-84℃ per AIDA64, and fan speeds stabilized at 1600-1900RPM via GamePP.
