Stabilizing i5 12400F Performance
Fighting ghosts in Shibuya was a nightmare because micro-stutters kept ruining the flow of combat. I first tried enabling Enhanced Performance Mode in the BIOS, but my CPU hit 92℃ per HWInfo64, triggering thermal throttling that actually made the lag worse. I finally used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to lock the processor state to High Performance and set the priority to Real-time. This stabilized my clock at 3.2-4.4GHz via CPU-Z, and FrameView confirmed frame intervals converged to 8-12ms with AIDA64 showing temps at 65-72℃.
