Solving Ancient Map Freezes
During fast peeks on the Ancient map, the screen would freeze for a split second, causing my crosshair to miss the target entirely. I first tried replacing the SATA cables with higher-spec ones, but this had zero impact on the M.2 interface, wasting a lot of my time. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configurator to increase the read queue depth to 1024 and enabled write cache flushing. I/O response hit 3200MB/s per GamePP, chipset temps stayed 58-64℃ via AIDA64, and the frame time curve became a smooth line in RTSS while SSD temps stayed 42-48℃ per HWMonitor.
