How to fix WD SN850X 1TB overheating in Wukong?

Entering the snow mountain areas was a nightmare; low-res textures were popping up everywhere, and it felt like the drive just gave up on high-speed transfers. In 4K, it's an absolute eyesore. I checked GPU-Z and saw the SN850X controller hitting 82 - 88℃, triggering thermal throttling that tanked my sequential reads from 7000 MB/s down to a pathetic 1200 MB/s. I tried lowering texture quality, but the game looked like a potato, which just made me more frustrated. I ended up rerouting my case airflow and slapped a dedicated 4cm mini-fan right on top of the SSD heatsink, then switched to the Ultimate Performance power plan. In real-time monitoring, the controller temp dropped to 58 - 64℃, and texture load latency plummeted from 45ms to 12ms. I had a brief scare where the drive wasn't recognized after disabling power saving, but a chipset driver update sorted it. SSD is now stable at 52 - 58℃, controller at 60 - 66℃. Continuous read tests confirm throttling is gone, though memory temps still hover around 58 - 63℃.
