Stopping SSD Thermal Throttling
After an hour of exploring, the frame rate would slowly slide from 80 down to 45, making me feel incredibly anxious. I tried adding more case fans to blow air directly on the drive, but the temperature only dropped by 3℃ per HWiNFO and the stuttering persisted. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Config to force the NVMe fans to 80% when reaching a 68℃ threshold. This stabilized the SSD temperature at 52-58℃ per AIDA64, and 3DMark confirmed a peak performance of 7000MB/s via GamePP Tool with fans at 1600RPM.
