Balancing Noise and Heat in Witcher
During a stealth mission in The Witcher 3, my MasterLiquid B240 fan noise shattered the atmosphere. I switched to silent mode, but the CPU temperature spiked above 90°C, causing lag. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Config panel to set a smart curve: 500 RPM below 50°C and up to 1200 RPM above 70°C. I refined the temperature step to 3°C for optimal balance. A decibel meter test confirmed noise dropped from 45 dB to 32 dB, with CPU temperature maintained below 75°C per GamePP sensors.
