Fixing High-Speed Screen Tearing
In the high-speed visual shifts of Horizon, any microsecond of latency is amplified into obvious screen tearing, which made me very anxious. I tried enabling V-Sync in the GPU driver, but while tearing stopped, input lag increased to over 30ms via RTSS, a trade-off I couldn't accept. Using the GamePP Frame Time Analyzer, I found a 5-8ms sync deviation at 6800MHz per CPU-Z and switched the sync mode to High Performance. RTSS monitoring confirmed the frame generation interval stabilized at 8.5-11ms, and AIDA64 reported temperatures of 48-55℃.
