Reducing I/O Bottlenecks
Entering global maps with thousands of units was absolute torture; the texture loading was agonizingly slow. I tried increasing my virtual memory to 64GB via Windows Settings, but that just made my overall system responsiveness worse. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. This was the key; random read performance increased by 18% per CDM, and my GPU temperature remained a cool 62-67℃ per AIDA64.
