How can I stop frame drops during intense sandstorm weapon fights?

I was worried about missing rare weapon drops due to frame drops during sandstorms in Defense Grid - The Awakening. I tried overclocking to 7200MHz, but the system crashed with a blue screen. GamePP showed my frequency jumping between 6400-6800MHz. I used the GamePP BIOS Voltage Regulator to increase voltage from 1.40V to 1.45V and locked the frequency at 6800MHz. An AIDA64 stress test confirmed stability, and my memory temperature dropped from 58℃ to 52℃, ensuring a smooth experience.
