Queue Depth for Phantom Blade Zero
In intense combat combos, my Great Wall GW3500 512GB showed random read latencies up to 150us. This caused noticeable lag when chaining skills. I first tried lowering the graphics settings, but that just ruined the visual experience without fixing the underlying storage lag. It was a waste of time. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Configuration to increase the queue depth from 256 to 512. Benchmark tests confirmed the random read latency dropped to 85us. The drive temperature stayed stable between 45℃ and 50℃. My combat feels responsive now, and the stuttering is gone.
