Removing Chassis Vibration
I was genuinely anxious when thousands of rats appeared; my CPU usage spiked and the fan entered 'berserk mode', shaking my whole desk. I tried setting the fan to 'Silent' mode in the BIOS, but that was a disaster as CPU temps hit 92°C per AIDA64 and FPS tanked to 20. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Panel to bypass the 2200-2400 RPM resonance band. FrameView showed frame times stabilized from 15-22ms down to 12-16ms, and RTSS monitored memory temperatures at a steady 42-48°C.
