How to solve overheating and throttling on Fanxiang S790 4TB SSD?

Watching my frame rate dive from 90 down to 30 was pure anxiety, especially when thousands of rats flooded the screen. The Fanxiang S790 4TB is a beast for speed, but it runs scorching hot. I saw core temps hitting 82-88℃, which triggered the controller's emergency throttling. I tried limiting the read speed via software first, but that just pushed loading times past 2 minutes, which was an unacceptable trade-off. I finally bit the bullet and installed an active heatsink with a fan locked at 3000 RPM. HWMonitor showed the temp plummeting to 52-58℃, and my frame time jitter narrowed from a wild 12-45ms down to a tight 8-14ms. I actually messed up the install at first—overtightened the screws and slightly warped the PCB, which meant the PC wouldn't even POST. A half-turn of the screw fixed it. Now I'm seeing stable 6200-6800MB/s reads with zero throttling. The input lag is gone, and the game feels incredibly responsive.
