Why does Pacific Drive hang at 99% with Kioxia G3 SSD?

I was shocked that a PCIe 4.0 drive would drop to 500MB/s; loading screens hanging at 99% for 5 seconds felt ridiculous. I tried formatting the drive and re-partitioning, but loading times remained unchanged, making the whole effort feel meaningless. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to push queue depth to 256 and disabled low-power states. Now, sequential reads are stabilized at 5200MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, the 500MB/s drop seen in AIDA64 is gone, and temps are 48-55℃ per HWiNFO.
