Fixing NVMe Write Amplification
It's unbelievable that a top-tier PCIe 4.0 drive would perform like this; every map switch felt like watching a slideshow. I spent two hours formatting partitions and re-aligning 4K sectors, but the frame drops persisted, making me mock my own inefficiency. I then accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration and increased the depth from 64 to 256. CrystalDiskMark verified random read speed increased to 68-75 MB/s, throughput hit 6500-7200 MB/s via GamePP tool, and temps were 55-62℃ per HWInfo.
