Why does my FPS drop from 100 to 50 during intense particle effects?

Facing massive amounts of enemy particles, my frame rate would plummet from 100 to 50 without warning, making combat feel sluggish. I tried enabling Low Latency Mode in the drivers; while response improved, the frequency of drops actually increased, which felt completely counterproductive. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force the GPU into maximum performance and raised the 65℃ fan speed to 85%. 3DMark stress tests showed the frequency range tightened to 2400-2600MHz, with final GPU temperatures stabilized at 65-72℃ per HWInfo.
