How do I prevent performance fluctuation and thermal throttling in Overwatch 2 intense combat scenarios?

During intense combat in Overwatch 2, the Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black GPU temperature spiked to 82C, triggering thermal protection and causing frame rate fluctuation that broke my flow. I tried lowering the game graphics quality, which reduced temperature but severely compromised visual quality, making me very dissatisfied. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration panel to raise the GPU temperature threshold to 85C and changed the fan speed curve from linear to non-linear. GPU temperature stabilized at 75-78C per HWiNFO, and frame rate stabilized at 60 FPS per MSI Afterburner.
