Dealing with DeepCool AK500 ARGB heat in Remnant 2?
Using this air cooler for a top-tier CPU is like trying to put out a forest fire with a garden hose; the AK500 ARGB was just overwhelmed. At 4K Ultra, temps shot up to 88°C - 95°C in AIDA64, and the clock speed plummeted from 5.0GHz to 3.2GHz in HWiNFO, turning the fight into a literal slideshow. I tried enabling 'Silent Mode' in the BIOS, but temps hit 100°C in AIDA64 and the PC just shut down, which was a complete joke of a solution. I jumped into the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and forced the fans to 100% as soon as the CPU hit 65°C. On the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page, temps dropped back to 76°C - 82°C in AIDA64, and the clock finally stabilized at 4.6GHz in CPU-Z.
