Why does The Sims 5 freeze when zooming in complex communities?

I felt totally ripped out of the experience whenever I zoomed out quickly; the screen would just freeze for 0.6s. I first tried installing the game on another SATA drive, but loading times jumped from 8 to 30s and the stutters stayed, which was pointless. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to manually bump the queue depth from 1024 to 2048 and optimized the write cache. CrystalDiskMark verified 4K random reads rose to 75-82 MB/s, and AIDA64 showed temps stable at 45-52℃. It's finally smooth.
