Fixing Battlefield Map Latency
It was ridiculous; I bought a top-tier 4TB drive, yet I encountered 5-second loading pauses when loading planetary maps. I tried disabling the write cache in Windows, but loading times actually increased by 10 seconds and caused screen tearing, which was ironic. I used GamePP NVMe queue depth configuration to increase the depth to 2048 and forced the high-speed write refresh strategy. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads improved to 85-92MB/s, and drive temperature stayed at 45-58℃ per CrystalDiskInfo.
