Managing Thermal Spikes
Walking through rat tides in Requiem was a nightmare; my CPU hit 92℃ per AIDA64, and frames plummeted from 60 to 30. I spent an entire afternoon rearranging all chassis fans thinking it was an airflow issue, but temperatures still spiked. I finally used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to implement a stepped increase of 1500-1800 RPM between 75-85℃. AIDA64 monitoring confirmed the peak temperature was suppressed to 82-86℃, and the steady-state temp remained at 72-78℃.
