Can a power plan fix crashes on ASRock A320M-HDV?
It's honestly ridiculous that a budget board just gives up during raytracing, turning my game into a slideshow. Analysis showed that when the CPU boosted, the VRM on the ASRock A320M fluctuated between 1.05V - 1.22V, causing 25-45ms scheduling delays. I tried the 'brute force' method of enabling Max Performance in BIOS, but temps hit 92℃ and triggered severe throttling—basically a joke of a solution. Instead, I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force 'Ultimate Performance' and set the game process to 'Realtime' in the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel. The smoothness during lighting transitions finally came back, and that jarring stiffness is gone.
